Listing content always appears as plain text, loses HTML formatting

    I am creating a detailed resource directory and none of my bolding, blockquoting, indents, etc. which I place into the description at the time I create a listing show up in the page listing. I just get plain text. Is this the way the BD display supposed to be? I’d like the listing description to support HTML if there is a way to get it to do so.

    Hi elibrarian27,

    Sounds like you don’t have the HTML attribute enabled for the Long Description field. That’s the field where you can allow for arbitrary HTML and short code expansion in listings. You can turn it on under Directory Admin->Manage Form Fields, and then edit the Long Description field.
