Also, I’m wondering whether the issue with the player’s js and css being loaded on all pages will be fixed soon? I’m considering the plugin for a large project, where performance is critical.

I mean, it is compatible with newer versions, the plugin page just needs to be updated to say that.

That I cannot say, as the plugin itself needs a major re-write, but it is still a while out.

Tested up to should be “4.2” – That value is for the latest version of WordPress your plugin has been tested on.

Also you should remember to update your trunk folder.
