List View Not Kicking in at 600px

I looked at your post. I also looked st the screenshot you referenced.

I couldn’t find a problem with my settings. Did you see my screenshot?

Also, i would like to add that when I change the settings to list view it does change to list view. So we know it works. But I want grid view and list view only at smalller screen sizes.

As in the other post, it seems that you don’t have the grid/list selections to be displayed enabled (See the “show in header” section of the options). If you do, it will work.

If you want to hide elements, inspect the code with a webdeveloper tool and use “display: none” css on the element you wish to hide. You can use mediaqueries to condition these, or add the relevant css to either style.css or style-mobile.css.

I see nothing on the page that says “show in header” as you specified. Here is a screenshot of the entire page that I am seeing with the settings.

Ok, it’s “Show in heading”, sorry. It shows in your screenshot as well.

Ok so i checked the box that says, “Display grid/list view selection”

After refreshing I still can’t get list view to display below 600px:

There is something going on. I got it working so that when I shrink the screen down it switches to list view, but if I then expand the screeen it stays in list view. Stays in list view even with a hard refresh. That’s in Chrome.

In FF, it never changes to list view no matter what the screen size is.

And it’s working fine in Firefox for me. Also, I understand it’s good and convenient to test with Firefox and resizing up and down (I do it all the time as well), but it’s probably better to look at it using a mobile device, as that is what the setting is intended for.
