List view corrupted when saving Formatting event list settings

    My list view gets corrupted when I go to the Settings > Formatting > ‘Default event list format’ and save it. Even when making no changes to the script in there.

    I noticed it when I made a slight change in the script (no error in it) and saved it. The list view of my events was totally broken. The only way to repair it was to import settings I had backed up earlier. These were settings from 27feb’24.

    I updated the latest EM version. If I export the settings when the list view is OK, then make a change in the settings and save them, the list view still gets corrupted. If I import the recent settings, the site crashes. Can’t get in anymore (luckily it’s a staging website).

    What goes wrong with the format settings?

    I noticed that this problem appears because the script entered in the Formatting > Event list Format field is changed by Events manager (recent version, not before) after using the Save button. EM deletes tags and conditions without notice. You think the script entered is accepted (no error message appears), but in fact the script is changed. The effect is that the resulting HTML misses a lot of code and the page looks corrupted.

    This does not happen when you import previously exported settings: the fields are not validated, the scripts are accepted, and the HTML is generated fully. Until you hit the Save button to save any setting: the field values become stripped again, and the pages look corrupted.

    Anyone has any idea what’s going on? Is this a known change of proces? Or am I wrong with this explanation and is it somthing else? Please help, because I can’t create the HTML I need anymore.
