    Hi

Sometimes people use the “List-Unsubscribe-Post” option, they get unsubscribed from my mail host list. They send me an email then I manually search and unsubscribe them.

How can I automate this process and send a “Good Bye” email to the customer?

    Thanks

    Hello @caban13,

unsubscriptions are managed by our plugin if they have been performed with one of the options the plugin itself offers. Unsubscriptions that take place outside of the plugin logic have to be managed manually.

    Thanks,
    Michael

Ok, that is clear. I am doing that now.

The problem is that “List-Unsubscribe-Post” option comes first, specially on mobile devices, they never see the unsubscribe option in the newsletter.

At least, is it possible to send the “Goodbye” email when I change the status in the “newsletter_users_edit” page?

Hi, there is something unclear in what you’re experiencing. The List-Unsubscribe-Post is a standard header with information used by the email client to show an unsubscribe button. One presed the unsubscription takes place and the good by email is sent. Are you receiving an email from the subscriber to be unsubscribed? If so, probably on the Unsubscription config panel you added an email address to be contacted, that is part of the List-Unsubscribe standard. You should remove that email address and rely only on the unsubscription URL managed directly by the email client.
