Hey, @karlmevans, does the feed always include future-dated items? If so, in the general settings for WP RSS Aggregator, you should enable the “Schedule future items” setting. This will schedule future items to be published later.

That setting is already active. However, that would not explain why selecting “Original Feed Order” under Import Order does not seem to work. That is the primary problem. The raw feed itself seems to be in the right order but WP RSS Aggregator is changing the order for some reason I cannot explain.

Ideally the list should only display items for the current date. I have Limit Items By Age set to 1 day, but that appears to include the following day and there is no setting for current day only.

Thanks for confirming that it’s already active. Looking at the current state of the RSS feed and the feed displayed on your site, they are shown in the correct order.

Your request to display only items for the current day isn’t something we offer at the moment. We’ll take note of it for a potential future update.

To clarify, if today is Friday 29th December, you would only want to display events that are happening today, so as the RSS feed is right now, it would exclude any events happening from the 30th onwards?

Do I understand correctly, then, that if I set Limit Items By Age to 1 day it will actually retain the previous day’s feed items as well as the current feed items? That seems to be what it’s doing. Or is there a way to remove all current feed items when the feed updates the next time?

@karlmevans, regarding the age limit, the plugin will only retain feed items that are up to 1 day old, deleting any older items. This includes feed items from the last 24 hours. If you are interested in synchronizing the imported items with the RSS feed items, please refer to: Keep Feed in Sync with Current State.
