List subcategories childs with it′s image

Hi! I want to add the subcategory image in the list.
I′m using echo category_image(); but is not working.
Any help appreciated, here′s my code:<?php
$args = array(‘child_of’ => 53);
$categories = get_categories( $args );
foreach($categories as $category) {
