List style event list (widget)

    I now have the following:

    <li class=”list”>#_EVENTDATES #_EVENTLINK

    CSS widget class ‘list’:

    { list-style-type: none; }

    li {padding-left: 0px; }

    ul { padding-left: -400px;}

    Now the bullets are removed, but the left padding is still there. How can i remove this?
