List Selection does not work with Designer Form

  • My steps:

    • I created a designer form…
    • I included only email and first name as fields…
    • I “unchecked” the List Selection since I want everyone to go into the same, default list.
    • I check marked the specific list – which is the default, since all the rest are databases and are not lists to select from.
    • But when I try to register, I get a message “please select a list”…

    Yet these SAME settings work on your standard CC form.(not designer)

    • So, tried this: I “checked” the List Selection option.
    • I again selected the ONE list that we want them to go into.
    • But, there is now a check box on the form, that displays ONE list. Seems silly.

    Is this a bug?
    Or, how to fix?

    An update… I discovered that if I set those parameters up in the “MAIN” plug in settings (not the widget) and then don’t touch the Designer form widget settings (so do NOT override)… it seems to work.

    The instructions are a bit confusing throughout, I think.

    The only other thing I noticed is that even though I submitted a thank you page url, I was still getting a success msg in the widget. Not sure how to remedy that.
