List recent posts, sorted by category

  • I’d like my home page to list the five most recent stories from several different categories…

    I’m stumped. I saw some plugin for showing one category’s posts–but I couldn’t get it to work.

    There’s gotta be a straightforward way to do this.

    I’ve been working on this too… It’s very do-able, I just don’t know the best approach. Do I need to run multiple loops, one loop for each category?
