    Hello,

Is it possible to make the dropdown language list open upwards?

Right now in footer, the bottom of the list is hidden by the page end. Is there some CSS I can add to make the language list open towards the top?

    Cheers,

    Itai

    Hi,

There is no easy way to do it. I would recommend you to place the language selector using the Show floating language selector option on the bottom left corner and it will open upwards.

BTW I have noticed that currently there are js errors logged in the console and the language flags are missing, it could be because of your cache plugin, try to turn it off and see if it solves the issue.

    Thanks! ??

    Hello Edo,

yes, it does seem to be the caching plugin, but only on phone versions of the site (?). Obviously, I cannot turn off the plugin, what can I do to make it work? Is there a .js I need to exclude?

Regarding the floating: we had it floating before, but I find to always have it in the face of the user is a bit distracting. That’s why we chose to have it in the footer. Set it and forget it. Is there no way to make the list open upwards?

    Cheers,

    Itai

    Hi,

There are conflicts with jQuery library, so I suggest you to contact the cache plugin developers. I believe you experience it on mobile versions only, because you are logged in on the desktop version and the cache is off in that case. Since I’m not logged in, I see the issue also on desktop version.

I do not know easy ways to make it open upwards. It will require extensive coding and unfortunately we will not be able to support it.

    Thanks! ??

Ok, I excluded the flags from the caching plugin, now the only issue left is the upwards list ??

ok got it. I thought I saw some CSS to do that but whatever I tried had no effect on the plugin.

Oh well, it will be a usability issue that will keep nagging me until I find a workaround.
