Hi,

thanks for your question and sorry for the trouble!

So, from what I understand, you want to automatically show a list of all sub pages of the “The Pantry” page?
That’s nothing really that is related to TablePress, so I suggest that you look for a plugin that can do this. “Sub pages” are called “child pages” in WordPress internally, so googling for wordpress plugin list child pages or something like that should list some plugins that you could try.

Tobias

Hi:

That’s not quite what i was looking for. I want to stop creating a Page to host each table I create. Ideally a list of tables that would launch the table in its own viewer or pagespace automatically.

Hi,

ah, thanks for the clarification!

This is not possible automatically, sorry. There has to be a page with the table Shortcode, otherwise it can not be displayed. This is simply a consequence of how Shortcodes work in WordPress.
You will have to manually create a page for each table and paste its Shortcode into it. Sorry for not having better news here.

`[table id=<8> /]<a href=”https://www.chicagomattressoutlet.net”>

I created a new table press on wp-3.6.1, I was provided with a short code,
which i have to paste into editor.
My table press was created with codes.
I can’t find where to paste the short code!

Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

The Shortcode

[table id=8 /]

needs to go in to the regular content of a page or post of your site. Just go to “Posts” or “Pages” in the admin menu and choose the desired page or post. Then paste the Shortcode into the editor there.

Regards,
Tobias
