• Hello, I hope someone can help me with this, or direct me to a thread where it’s been discussed. I searched for the problem, but wasn’t able to see anyone else having it. ??

I’ve got multisite set up and it’s working great (WP 3.3.1). As I’ve been adding sites to the network, the only user I’m adding is myself as admin. Every time I add a site it shows in the drop down menu from “my sites” in the admin bar. So far, so good.

The problem occurred when the list of sites got too long to all fit on the same screen. With other drop down menus, scrolling moves/scrolls the menu on the screen and you can see the rest of it. But, that’s not happening here. Upon scrolling, the page/background scrolls, but not the sites list.

I know the sites are being added because if I zoom out on the browser, I can see the whole list without a problem.

Is there a setting I need to change, or something else that I should be doing? I’ve tried Chrome, Firefox, and IE, and the same thing happens in all of them.

    Thanks!

    Cathy

The don’t scroll, but a page-down should work to move the whole page down…

Hmmm…I thought it was supposed to work like that. The problem is, it doesn’t for me. The page moves, but scrolls behind the list; the list itself doesn’t move with the page.

I don’t know if it helps any, but the same behavior occurs no matter which site I’m on in the network. ??

Yeah, the sites dropdown doesn’t … degrade very well, does it? I think there’s a trac ticket on it.

Well, it’s good to know that it’s being looked at; at least I’m not going nuts! ??

Fortunately, I discovered that if you click on the My sites link (the words themselves), it takes you to a page that lists all your sites. Which is still easier than having to bookmark the admin screen for all my sites individually. One extra step than a drop down, but I’m glad it’s there.
