Hello,
Thanks for your theme, it’s a great help to me. However, I have a set of questions from you to improve the website way better:

1) In the theme, two times the title and tagline of website could be written, one on the top bar, and another one on the picture of heading. It would be nice to keep only the former and delete the latter one (so no text on the picture). can I do it?

2) I cannot create such a part, where the three sections have three ships, exactly below the main heading photo.

3) How can I decrease the height of top bar in the heading? where the menu is.

4) For designing footer, it would be possible to use only one format unless I use pro version of plugins like Elementor. How did you design your footer that can have heading and paragraph text.

5) How can I delete “leave reply” in the theme? cause it comes in every post that I create. or How can I control it? I mean the email that receives all the incoming replies.

6) The side bar in your demo website is different from the one that I have. I mean the home page of theme has two columns, but in your demo website, some blocks can occupy the whole width, as if there’re no side bars.

I am very new to wordpress, sorry I didn’t use the right words for the terms. Thanks a lot in advance.

Hi Javad,

Thank you, I’m glad you like the theme ??
1. I think you mean the intro section text when blog is set as homepage. You can always hide this using custom CSS:
```
.home.blog .intro-container {
	display: none;
}
```
  For more info about what is displayed in page intro please check theme documentation.
2. This section is created on static pages when using “With intro widgets” page template. You can use “Anatomy” section in theme documentation for quick tips on how to set up each section of the theme. Also, to set up “Intro Widgets” sidebar widgets it may be easier to install Classic Widgets plugin first. Finally, you can also install theme demo content to see how things are done in the theme.
3. Only with custom CSS. If you would like to know more info, please log a support ticket at official support forum at https://support.webmandesign.eu/ and provide a screenshot. Or search the support forum for possible solution already.
4. Not sure what you mean, but if you would like to create a footer like it is on theme demo website, I suggest importing demo content. And/or check out the “Anatomy” section of theme documentation for how to edit footer section.
5. You can disable comments in WordPress settings.
6. Your homepage is not set as a static page. (Check out “Setting Up a Front and Blog Page” in theme docs.) Try to install demo content to see how things are done in theme/WordPress.
As you can see, a lot (if not all) of your issues can be fixed by checking theme documentation at https://webmandesign.github.io/docs/reykjavik/ I also suggest checking out some tutorials on how to use WordPress.

Tip: If you are new to WordPress, please check “First Steps With WordPress” section in theme documentation.

Tip: Reykjavik is an older theme of mine and I suggest you to check out my newest free theme Michelle which is much more optimized for modern WordPress block editor (Gutenberg).
