• So with the release of Version 3 of Achievements for WordPress, I’d like to cover some bugs I’ve ran into along with providing a list of features I’d like to see for the next few releases.

So let’s start with the bugs:

Changing Profile Avatar doesn’t unlock achievement.
Changing Profile Details doesn’t unlock achievement.
Being promoted to Group Mod or Admin doesn’t unlock achievement.
Commenting on WordPress Post doesn’t unlock Achievement.
Joining a Group doesn’t unlock an achievement.

    Feature requests:

Connection with Buddypress on profile pages, and hooked back fully into the core of Buddypress.
    Thumbnails on the achievement page.
    Additional support for plugins.
    Widget that displays Karma.

I’ve just tested all the issues you’ve reported on a clean install of WP 3.5.1 and BP 1.6.4, with BP-Default. They all work for me.

I assume you’re using the latest version of BuddyPress? Are you running multisite?
I can only speculate that it’s something to do with the theme you’re using, but I’m not sure what it could be.

Well I am having an issue with being able to get the comment activity posted on activity walls, that might be part of the issue. I’ve got a few Buddypress related plugins installed: BuddyPress Template Pack, BuddyPress Activity Plus. No multisite.

We’ve tried working on this solution but didn’t come up with anything: https://support.industrialthemes.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=6147

Yeah this seems to be Theme related as I switch to BP-Default and it popped up. Now we just need to figure out the conflict :/

Ah hah. So the notification box appeared for an achievement that was unlocked on your own theme, when you switched to BP-Default?

No I created the achievement, switched themes, and it popped up. I had previously tested it the “Made” theme last night and it didn’t work.

The weird thing is the comment from posts still don’t appear on activity walls on the BP-Default theme.

So it appears at the very least there’s a conflict between the “Made” theme and your plugin, with certain achievements.

    Odd.
