List of plugins disappeared

  • Out of the blue, my list of plugins disappeared, and the plugins page said that I had 0 Active plugins, as well as 0 Inactive plugins.

    I know they still exist, as they are listed in my wp-content/plugins directory.

    When I try to install one of the pre-existing ones, it rightly says that I already have it. However, it’s not listed and and not functioning.

    There weren’t very many plugins. They included standard ones that come with WordPress, plus Google Analytics, Contact Form 7, Really Simple Captcha, SEO by Yoast, and DiggDigg.

    Since this happened, I installed a new plugin, and it shows on the list (a list of 1, at this point), as it should.
