List of countrues possibly outdated

  • Hi there,

    It seems that some EU countries had its code updated in the VIES. I think this could affect your VAT check.

    Specifically, Greece is now ‘IL’ instead of ‘GR’, and they included ‘XI’ for Northern Ireland.

    Hey! Greece has always used “EL” as prefix for Greek VAT numbers. Quaderno is able to detect those numbers and validate it.

    At the moment, we cannot validate Northern Ireland numbers because that nation is not available in the list of countries on EDD. As soon as they include it, we’ll support those numbers as well.

    If you detect any valid VAT number that is not validated by Quaderno, please send us a message to [email protected] and we’ll take a look at it.
