• Dear iThemes Security,

In the backup section under “Settings” -> “Database Backups” -> “Exclude Tables” -> “Tables for backup”, the amount of tables do not match the amount of tables in the database. I am missing quite important tables like wp_options, wp_posts, etc.

In only have 3 tables in the exclude list – the three itsec tables which are excluded by default. In the tables-for-backup list, there is only 11 tables but in the database, there are 30 tables.

My database crashed a week ago. This error in backup settings meant that I had to roll 4 months back which was the first time I had a full backup ??

At the same time, I can tell you that the backup only is 0,4kB large, so there is something wrong with the algorithm (or with my implementation of course)

I hope that you can help. Btw, thanks for an awesom plugin! Keep up the great work.

    Best regards

    Alex

come on – nobody – not even iThemes support? Seems I am not the only one woth the problem

    Hey Alex,

Only the non-standard tables are listed. If you were to have the option of excluding standard table like the options table your site would break on a restore. I hope this makes sense.

    Thanks,

    Gerroald
