    Hi There,

    Great plugin, but I wonder if you can help…

    My list isn’t updating with the new email subscriber.

    I’ve tested this on numerous emails and I’m not receiving a confirmation to click through on from Mail Chimp either.

    Can you tell me if Mail Chimp is always meant to send these?

  • I’m getting the same issue.

    I’ve tried various email addresses.

    I’ve checked the api key and that it is has the subscriber list included but nothing.

    They offer a premium upgrade but if they can’t offer help on their free plugin I won’t be upgrading. This is a good test on their service.

    Doesn’t work for me either, really liked the layout of the plguin too and had so much promise…

    I also have the same problem and I can’t find any solution for it.. and seems like they don’t care.

    I’ll need a bit more info to help you guys out.

    We’ll need access to your WP-admin (or a full backup of your site) to reproduce the issue. Please email us at support[at]fatcatapps[dot]com and reference this discussion to proceed.

    (Our Mailchimp API integration user interface is a little bit confusing right now (we’ll change it in the next release), so this might be causing issues.)

    Glad to see I’m not the only one experiencing this issue. Usually I’d move on to a new solution but your plugin looks good. I will email you access to our site so you can see the issue. Please keep this thread updated.

    Hi Everyone,

    In our Free Optin Cat plugins it utilizes our “Double Optin” option as the default setting where as a Confirmation email is or would be sent to the email address used to signup on your form.


    It is only AFTER the person has clicked to confirm registration from their email will they be added to your List.

    For our Single optin feature, where after signup they would be added to your list instantly, is a feature only available in our Premium versions of Optin Cat as seen here:
