List not appearing in Drop Down Combo box

    Hi –

    I installed this plugin a few weeks ago, and got a contact form working and fully integrated. I was very happy. Recently, I have been wanting to make a new form, to integrate with the exact same email list, that ONLY captures First Name and email address. I have gone to Manage List Forms in order to make the new form. The problem is, my list does not appear in the drop down combo box. I have logged in to MailChimp, have the correct API key, made sure I was active in MailChimp, etc., but my list is not appearing as a choice. It DOES have my list (there’s currently only one) on the Manage List Forms screen, but I am afraid that is for my EXISTING Contact form. I don’t want to wipe that out in the process of creating the NEW form. What am I doing wrong?

    Hi SpaceGoddess,

    Did you create the list over on MailChimp side, and add the merge variables you want to use to the form? Once the form is created over on MailChimp, it should appear in the dropdown. It’s possible that it may take a few minutes to appear, as I believe we have some caching set in place to prevent a call being made to the API too frequently.
