List in WP Style

I’m writing a plugin, and i need to list same record inserted by me in the database. I would list them, how links,pages,posts are listed. But i don’t know the function used by wordpress to extract data from database, and the function used to list. Anybody, could tell me, how to do it, or link me a page which explain that?
