List featured Blogs on homepage?

  • I am trying to list out some featured blogs on my homepage.

    I would probably need to specify a blog ID and then list the following for each blog ID
    -blog name
    -blogs author
    -blogs author avatar
    -blogs last post

    I know how to list this stuff out from within a post on that blog but how do I do it from my main blogs homepage?
