• List Day of Week / Date column cutting off Date.
    Looks like a -4 margin problem? Not at all sure, and having trouble even figuring out where to fix it properly.;

    Something as simple as the list should work Out Of The Box!

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi there,

    I am sorry that you are having an issue with this, I can see the problem clearly, it could be an issue with your theme, but I am also seeing a lot of console errors on that page.

    I do also see that you have The Events Calendar Pro, which means you do have access to premium support. So can you please submit a ticket with us here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/#contact

    We hope to hear from you soon!

    We do have Pro, but we have it as a Non-Profit, so no support unfortunately.

    Hi there,

    Ah I see now, thank you for letting me know that. Hmm, this is quite strange. It seems like to me this could possibly be some sort of conflict with your theme or another plugin. You can go ahead test for conflicts: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/testing-for-conflicts/

    One think I want to ask before you do that however, do you by chance have any kind of third party caching app enabled on your site? They tend to cause some issues on the front end and this looks like something maybe akin to that.

    Please let me know!

    We use A2 Hosting’s WordPress Optimized setup which includes their version of W3 Total Cache.

    However, I think almost all my troubles come from way before when I was first testing out versions of Calendar systems to use for the NPO. I had an issue with another non-calendar plugin later and to test if it was you all (it was not) I removed your plugin .. tested .. and went to reinstall it. At that point the formatting starting going crazy .. even the full Month view does not work anymore. I am using List as a work-around in fact.

    I think something in the DB is wacked.. but I have no clear way of checking that. I will check out the link you sent.

    ANY help would be appreciated greatly as the Calendar is our PRIME reason for the website.. and it’s just not working right.

    Desperate,

    Alan

    Hi Alan,

    I am very sorry to here that the problems might be extending past just the calendar plugin. I can tell you that in the recent past and still currently, caching apps like that (there is a list we have and W3 is on it) have caused anywhere from tiny to significant problems for customers on the front end, especially when it comes to styling. So I understand W3 is included with your hosting, but if you can try disabling it to check and see if that resolves the issue, that would be one step I might try first.

    I did try messing with some CSS for this, can you give this a try?

    .tribe-events-calendar-list__event-date-tag.tribe-common-g-col {
    margin-right: 50px;
    }

    Let me know if maybe that works for you!

    Thanks, yes Caching has conflicts with a few things, most I have been able to avoid. I’ll setup a test as soon as I can and try it without the W3.

    Thanks for the CSS, I’ll add that in and give it a try and let you know the result.

    Greatly appreciate your assistance.

    I added in the CSS you sent and it fixed the problem. I was even able to bring it down to 20px and it looks great now.

    Now I can finally move on to the next task which is buying the Community module..

    Thank you SO much for hanging in there with me and helping.

    Hi Alan,

    That is great to hear! I am super glad that worked out for you!

    I will go ahead and resolve this thread, but if you run into any other issues please submit another thread in this forum!

    Thanks I will. We just bought the Community Events Add-On Does that qualify us now for support?
