List Category Posts widget not working

Hello,

I love the List Category Posts plugin. It works as advertised on pages.

I’m trying to use the List Category Posts widget, but every time I “save” my settings, the default settings (mostly blank fields) appear. Nothing I do, including accepting defaults, gets the widget to appear in my sidebar.

I’ve tried to work around this by using a text widget (i.e., putting [catlist id=4] in the content field of that widget) but this does not work either.

Any suggestions? I am using Arras Theme (1.3.5), WP 2.8, and List Category Posts 0.4.1.
