List 10 latest posts doesn’t work

    Hello,

    I want so show the last 50 posts, which where added to my wordpress site. I thought it would be very simple, I just need the code

    [catlist numberposts=50]

    but it doesn’t work. So I tried

    [catlist]

    first, to check, but same result.

    With both codes I simply get one post listed. This is the only post in my first created category (so lowest ID). If I add another post to this categorie it is also shown in the list.

    So why aren’t the post from all categories are listed, why only from this category? How can I list the last 50 posts, indepent from category?

    It should list all posts regardless of categories. The problem you are experiencing is almost certainly caused by your theme or other plugins that apply their own customizations to how posts are filtered. Try disabling all plugins other and/or use another theme to see if the problem persists. Once you identify which plugin/theme causes the problem I should be able to help with resolving the conflict.
