LinkThis bookmarklet suddenly stopped working

  • I am using Firefox 1.0.4 and WordPress 1.5.1.3. All of a sudden my LinkThis bookmarklet stopped working. I get the following error:
    An appropriate representation of the requested resource /wp-admin/link-add.php could not be found on this server.
    Yet when I typed the file name in a browser window myself it came up just fine. Any ideas of what’s going on?

    I just answered my own question. It turns out the title of the webpage I was trying to add to the Links Manager had a trademark symbol in its title. I guess the bookmarklet didn’t like that!
