Links & Wiki's options not available

  • Hi

    I am hosting my own WordPress site and I do not understand why I do not see options to configure Links or Wiki’s in my dashboard as directed in the WordPress books I have researched.

    As far as i know these are not implemented as Plugins so why to I not have these features available?

    Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

  • I’m not sure about what you mean by “Wiki’s” but for links, see:

    They were moved to a plugin in 3.5.

    Thanks for the assistance, which is very helpful and most appreciated.

    My partner has an account on perhaps an earlier version of WordPress hosted by a provider and she has also got a Wiki feature which may also have been enabled by a Plugin. It is listed under links in her dashboard. I will check this out.
