    Hi,
    On both Android and iOS devices, if I send a link to my site to someone who already has the PWA installed, it always opens their default browser, and not the web app. Is there any way to change this behaviour? There appears to be, at least on Android devices, a facility for the user to change the behaviour in the settings (Apps > select app >(App info) Set as default, then Go to supported URLs with a choice of In this app, Always ask, or In other app, but whichever option I choose it always opens the default browser. Is there something that needs to be added to the manifest file or is it just not possible? I am assuming that until iOS fully supports PWAs that its not possible but Android? I hope it can be done.

    The site is currently being tested so has only limited pages open to the public, but it is sentlive.com.

    While you are taking a look, it seems that the Add To Home feature has stopped working as well (Android), and the loader is not showing on iOS.

    I have also found another issue – as the Add To Home was not appearing I added an image and set it to be the click to trigger add to home, but that isn’t working either! Please help me resolve these issues.

    I have resolved one of these issues, the loader is now showing on iOS after I deactivated the BP Activity Privacy plugin. It may not be actually connected but that is working now; however I have not enabled the loader for Desktop but it sometimes shows up – not a big deal but puzzling.

    Sorry for the delay in getting back to you extremely. If possible, Can you please check once if this is due to any conflict or caching issue?

    Hi @magazine3,
    I have been having various issues not only with your plugin but others, so I concluded that I needed to dive deep into code that I have added to my site, and discovered that there was a jquery issue that I have now fixed. However with regards to your plugin, the problems I am having now are that I am unable to install the web app in Firefox on Android – neither the Add To Home nor the element I have set to trigger it are working there – and links to my site will not open the app, only the default browser, as described in the opening post. These may not be a fault in the plugin, but I have tried deactivating plugins, changing to the default theme etc and it doesn’t make any difference. The automatic Add To Home works in Chrome on Android and on my Mac desktop by the way, but not in Firefox on Mac. Whatever element I add, whether it is text, image, menu item or button, and put the class of the element into the PWA Advance setting, it won’t trigger the Add To Home on any browser or device I have tried. So essentially there are three issues:
    1. Links to the site not opening web app;
    (could be an unknown setting in the mobile device or browser, or just that this behaviour can’t be changed? What is meant to happen?)

    2. Add To Home banner not working on Firefox;
    (is this again some setting in Firefox? Or something else? I have only tested Firefox and Chrome so will update when I have been able to test on other browsers; I am aware that iOS devices don’t have this facility so am not testing with any, only Android and desktop, but I only have Macs so can’t test on Windows/Linux machines)

    3. Add To Home On Element Click not working on any device/browser;
    (I have eliminated plugins and themes so this is either a common fault for all devices/browsers or something in the plugin)

    Hi @magazine3 ,
    Further testing has revealed that neither the automatic Add To Home banner, nor ATH on element click are working on the Samsung Internet Browser on Android either. Additionally these are not working on the Brave browser on several different devices. I have made sure that popups are not blocked in all situations. This is becoming a serious issue for me, as I need people to be able to install the web app, so please advise whether there is some code I need to check or add, or some setting in either devices or browsers that needs to be set, or whether this is an issue with the plugin. I only have one Android device to test on, a relatively old Samsung Galaxy J6, so if you think this is an issue with the device then please tell me, but the fact that it is happening on other devices in Firefox and Brave suggests to me that it is the plugin. I hope you can deem to respond soon, as this is holding up my testing. I don’t want to abandon your plugin, like it appears many others with similar issues in these support forums appear to have done when you don’t respond quickly, as in many ways it works well, but this is a crucial problem. Please help me and others fix it.

    @magazine3,
    Just to let you know I have now also tested with the Opera browser on Android, which does work for the automatic Add To Home banner. Not tested for the element click because it is very late here, but will try tomorrow.

    Can I assume that the update yesterday should have fixed the element click issue? If that was the intention, it hasn’t changed anything on my site. Please let me know if I need to change settings or do something to get the Add To Home functionality working on all browsers and devices (other than iOS). Thanks.
