Links to Posts on a View Posts by Category page are not working

For whatever reason none of the custom pages for my site which are a grouping of posts by category work anymore. By not work I mean when on the page the user cannot actually click on the featured image or post title to get to the a specific post.

Regardless of how a user gets to the page (custom menu item that is a group of posts by category or view postsy by category widget) once on the page the links to view the posts (featured image or post title) just redirect user back to the cateogry page.

Example: Go directly to https://www.binghamtonrugby.com/category/photos-by-event/ and try to click on any of the posts.

Instead of taking user to https://www.binghamtonrugby.com/photo-album-2015-10-24-fordham-b-side/ when clicking on post feature image or title simply takes user to same page; https://www.binghamtonrugby.com/category/photos-by-event/.

This problem seemed to have happened when I upgraded to WordPress 4.4. I know the problem is related to the my sites theme (Adapt) as when I temporarily changed the theme the problem went away.

However I don’t want to deal with changing to a new theme at this time.

Hoping someone can triage and find the root problem and provide advice on a band-aid that will hold me over.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
