Links to next image in Lightbox not working and also not the caption

    Hi,

    my customer (I am a webdesigner) has the problem, that the galleries do not have a navigation to next prev images in the lightbox after clicking them. Also the caption of the images is not shown anymore. I already deaktivated the theme and other plugins. I also re-saved the permalinks. Without effect. Could you please check that?

    Captions
    In order to have visible your captions on that gallery display, please, follow these instructions:
    1- You should use our “Basic Thumbnails” display.
    2- You should select the option “NextGen Legacy Gallery caption”
    Note: The information that will be used for that gallery display it’s the “caption” or description in your photograph.

    Lightbox effect
    Could you please, Go to Gallery > Other options > Lightbox Effects > On “What effect would you like to use?” select the lightbox Effect you want to use.

    Hi and thanks. I see that the options (like Lightbox settings) are not stored. I can set Lightbox to Fancybox for example and shortly afterwards the settings is again back to use no lightbox. Same as the setting, where the galleries are stored. Although I setup a correct path, the path gets changed and a red notice appears that the path could not be found. I think thats the main problem. What could be the problem?

    It seems like a conflict on the site that prevents NextGen from saving it’s settings.
    I hope that you wouldn’t mind to temporarily deactivate all the plugins ( one by one ) excepting NextGen Gallery, switch to a theme from Twenty Series then try again to change NextGen’s settings and save them then check if the settings are saved. This will point to the plugin that is conflicting.

    Sorry but it does not make a difference. I deactivate plugins and the theme, then set the gallery path to “wp-content/gallery/”, then setup the lightbox to fancybox. It works for 1 time on the frontend. After that the settings are wrong again. Could you check by yourself in the dashboard?
