    Hi all,
I am making a WordPress installation on Google AppEngine (follwing this guide: https://developers.google.com/appengine/articles/wordpress).

The problem is that the links to intall new plugins and new themes have suddenly gone (they were there for a while – I cannot recall what may have removed them since I am setting up WordPress and I am doing a lot of changes in a short time).

I tried to set the db_version in the wp_options table to 8204 and re-update the database, but it didn’t help.

I don’t have a “network admin option as it is a single install.

I would like to avoid to have to download any plugins I may need (again, since I am just setting a new installation, they are many that I have jet to add) and use appcfg.py everytime (Google App engine use that command – I don’t have FTP or PHPMyAdmin).

The site is currently available to this link: https://wp-dot-silicongadget-wordpress.appspot.com

How can I solve this issue?

    Thank in advance.

    Any idea? :/

Have you tried deactivating ALL plugins and switching to the default twentythirteen theme? That’s standard troubleshooting.

Good suggestion WPyogi!!! Too bad I didn’t think it myself as indeed it should have been the first thing I should have attempted. ??

At the end, it was the “Google App Engine for WordPress” plugin the culprit; odd since its purpose was indeed to provide a better experience of WordPress on Google App Engine.

I’ll keep it off until I finish setting up the enviroment (I hadn’t much time in the last few days) and eventually I’ll turn it up when I am ready to go live with the blog.

Thank you very much for your help.

You’re welcome and yep, that’s always a good start for troubleshooting :)!
