Links to file:// get stripped

  • Hi,

    When I try to link to local files on our servers [for our intranet site] the links starting with file:// or file:///// get stripped of a link path when updating the page.
    Only https:// starting paths stay after saving post/page, then link only works in IE.

    Is there a workaround does anyone know?
