Links to Cookiedatabase.org broken

    Hi,

    Great plugin.

    I run a broken links scan on my site every week or two and it has a huge list of 404s today for cookiedatabase.org on my cookie policy page. This page is generated by Complianz. An example broken link would be the read more for PayPal (https://cookiedatabase.org/service/paypal/) or for any PayPal cookie (e.g. https://cookiedatabase.org/cookie/paypal/paypal/). I assume they have changed the URL structure on their site.

    On my staging site , I went through the wizard steps to re-create the cookie policy page but the links are the same.

    Hi @james-feaver,

    Thanks for reporting, cookiedatabase.org has flushed the permalink structure, this appears to have resolved the issue.

    Thanks for the reply. I took no further action assuming all was now well. I’ve just run the broken link checking again and it is reporting many cookiedatabase.org broken links again e.g. https://cookiedatabase.org/service/google-recaptcha/

    Hi @james-feaver very strange, the issue was resolved at that moment, but apparently has returned. The permalinks have been cleared again, which has resolved the issue again. We’ll investigate why this issue came back. Thanks for reporting.

    Thanks Roger. The recaptcha link is now working and a retest has no 404s. Odd!
