Links subcategory

  • I’m sorry if that question was there, but I can’t find it.
    My request is simple, is any plug-in or code addon for WP 1.5, that can sort links to subcategories?

    Now on this I’m not sure…. don’t recall anyone asking about nested links before ?

    Unfortunately, no — link cats are not hierarchical like post cats

    Has anyone found/created a plugin/hack for link subcategories yet?

    Come on, there’s got to be a solution to this?? Since post categories can have subcategories is it really that hard for some of you major programmers to hack the links section to include subcategories? Or maybe someone can suggest a third-party links manager that has a subcategories feature?

    I am looking for the same functionality. Seems like such an obvious thing.

    I know this is an old question, but I still couldn’t find an answer to it. So after some fiddling around, I think came up with a pretty good solution.

    If someone has a way to improve the code in this solution, let me know by leaving a comment on my blog. Hope this will help someone.
