links returning no results – blank pages

  • In can pull up my blog but when I click on blog posts titles, categories, latest posts, etc. i’m returning blank pages. The page loads blank and says done.

    Any ideas of what could be causing this?

    it appears so. when i go to “editor” for my theme those files are there.

    When i’m in admin I can edit a post but when i click to view the post from admin, i get a blank page. So it appears that my blog posts are gone, but if they were really gone they wouldn’t show up on the home page like they do.

    Changing the permalinks back to default fixed the issue. I was using custom permalinks. Thanks @msrpabs for diving in with me.

    I changed the permalinks here: blogaddress.com/wp-admin/options-permalink.php.

    I didn’t start using the custom permalinks until I published the first two blog entries. So I’m wondering if there is a chance that the category links, et-al, on the site were looking for /?p=43 instead of /blog-post-title making them pull up blanks. I’ll have to test that.

    sometimes permalinks just go buggy, resetting them by going back to default, and then back to your custom sorts things.

    Also, some plugins can flake out your permalinks. I’ve had 3 where on install, or uninstall, I’ve had to reset my permalinks.
