Links, plugins and most settings not 'saving' after update

  • After upgrading to 4.1 then subsequently to 4.1.1 I have had an issue with links/embedded docs not saving in posts/pages/events. Even trying to alter certain plugins on/off in their settings, and certain WordPress settings are not saving properly. Once hitting the save button on any of the above situations I am taken straight to the home page of the said website (www.derwentstrikers.com.au), and subsequently nothing is altered or saved. I can make fresh posts that save, but without any kind of embedding or links.

    I have not only tried this on two different OS’s but different browsers, emptied caches, plus disabled plugins/theme, removed plugins, and tried fresh installs of wp-admin & wp-includes folders into current directory with no result.

    If anybody has had similar issues or knows of a fix I would greatly appreciate it. This is a bit over my head.

  • I’m having the exact same problem and went through those steps too… nothing…

    I am having this same problem trying to embed Youtube videos and the ones I currently had are gone as well as pictures in a portfolio.
    On another website of mine the save button is gone from the theme.

    Please help.
