    Depending on your skill level, you have three options: javascript to alter the links on the page, create a custom template that alters offsite links or the easy way: use a plugin such as “Nofollow for External Links”

    So “Nofollow for External Links” isn’t compatible with WordPress 3.5. Are there any other plugins like this one you can recommend?

    Oh, that was just the first of many plugins that do this. Just search the plugins for “external links” there are several to choose from.
