Links not working with current version of WordPress

For the past couple of months, beginning I believe with 4.5 if not earlier, this plugin no longer works. Custom links do not appear, and neither do image screenshots themselves. This error appears (even when it should point to a custom link and not an image): “Image cannot be loaded. Make sure the path is correct and image exist.”
