Links not working after update wordpress 5.5

  • Hi,

    I recently updated: WordPress to 5.5 + Porto theme to 5.4.3.

    Issue detected: links do not work (relatd to WP Bakery??).

    Description:
    In home page I have 4 blocks created with WP Bakery plugin. These 4 blocks point to 4 different categories on my website and each one has a url link. These links stopped working after upgrade.

    BUT, strange behaviour depending on browser:
    – Internet explorer DOES NOT WORK.
    – On Chrome and Firefox DO NOT WORK.
    – On Safari works fine.
    – On Chrome mobile works fine. –> While desktop view gets smaller and reaches mobile size, links become available.

    I tried downgrading Porto theme to previous versions but the issue is still there. So I believe the problem is with WP 5.5.

    If you use a commercial theme or plugin and need support, please go to their official support channel. In order to be good stewards of the WordPress community, and encourage innovation and progress, we feel it’s important to direct people to those official locations.

    Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why your commercial theme or plugin is not working properly. This is one other reason why volunteers forward you to the commercial product’s vendors. The vendors are responsible for supporting their commercial product.
