Links Not Working After Update

    Need some advice, please.

    Yesterday I revisited an old blog I hadn’t been near for about a year and decided to breath some new life back into it. There are quite a number of posts there, 250 plus

    Anyway the first thing I done was to upgrade my database and WordPress to the latest version. I then upgraded the plugins I wanted to keep and deleted the remainder. I also deleted Themes I’d downloaded and left the blog sitting on the old default WordPress theme. Two reasons for doing this, that pesky little ‘security check,’ malware was on the blog, also I have a theme I especially want to use on this blog.

    The blog has several Categories and two pages, including the homepage. . When I click on one of the posts or menu items I get ‘The requested URL /articles/improve-dogs-skin-and-coat/, was not found on this server,’ or whatever the link happens to be. However, if I go to ‘view posts’ then quite clearly the post is there. Click on ‘view posts’ and again I get the Error message above.

    I hope the solution is simple but at the moment I can’t figure it out.

    Ah problem solved – changed Permalink to default and then back to custom links and everything back to normal
