Links not opened in new tab

Hi,

Our TA links are not opened in a new tab, even though the option is checked. They are opened in new tabs where I choose so in the WP-link options.

But for regular text links inside content, the feature for nofollow or _blank links doesnt work.

Any ideas why the global feature doesn’t seem to work on our website? We use Rank Math, but doesn’t use any options to controll link behaviour there.
