    Hi,

by accident I detected broken links on the website (see above) and checked the BLC. In the links list the links don’t even show, they were not detected. It is about the four links behind four logos on the bottom of the main page (second logo row, directly above the maps image). Now I checked almost all boxes in the settings (“Look for links in”) unless ACF fields and custom fields. I enabled all checkboxes in “Which links to check” and all APIs and forced recheck several times. The external links behind the logos still are not detected. Any idea? We use the Divi Builder.

    Best regards, Eva

    Hi @ceeqoo,

I hope you are doing well today!

Please go to BLC->Settings->Advanced->Enable logging and share /wp-content/uploads/broken-link-checker/blc-log.txt with us after performing another forced recheck, so that we can check further.

You can share the file contents with us using the free services such as https://pastebin.com or https://justpaste.it

    Kind regards,
    Zafer

    Hi @ceeqoo

I tested with Divi modules: text and image with the same links you have right now on your site and my local scan shows those links as 200 OK. Also, my “blc-log.txt” file contains info about those links.

From what I checked on your site, those links are correct now and I assume those were corrected by you. Still not sure why your “blc-log.txt” file does not point them out, even if those are valid, like in my lab.

Can you let us know which Divi module you use to place those images with links?

    Kind Regards,
    Kris

    Hi,

we use the very simple image module and link the image. I detected the same problem on at least one other website we produce (same thing: linked images not shown in BLC link list). (And yes, I had to change the broken links now.). I will have a look if this problem shows on other/all our DIVI websites. I never checked the linked images until now.

    Kind regards, Eva

    Hi,

I checked the next website and found the same problem (DIVI image module with link). I can only check images with external links because internal links often are used several times. Please dig into this and tell me if you need any further information.

    Hi @ceeqoo,

Hope this message finds you well, and sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue.

We would like to replicate the exact settings, using a Cloud/Drive service, could temporarily share the image settings that are not being detected, please? Thank you.

    Best regards,
    Laura

    Hi Laura,

thank you for your message. I am not sure if I understand what you mean by “sharing the image settings”. It’s just the very simple DIVI image module. I copied the code of the whole section: https://justpaste.it/8hz53

    Hello Eva,

I hope you’re doing good today!

Thank you for the explanation. It looks like there’s some incompatibility with the Divi image module, while the same media links inside a Text module should be detected.

This issue has been reported to the developers, so they will be considering a fix, but there’s no ETA, I’m afraid.

    Dmytro

    Hi,

okay, I see. Thank you. Did you test if any other DIVI modules are also affected (except the text module) – like buttons, blurbs, CTAs and so on?

    Kind regards, Eva

    Hello Eva,

Currently the Local version only works with the links inside the Text module, unfortunately. This issue might be happening due to the way the module content is stored in the database, and it’s been reported the issue to the developers.

You can try switching over to the Cloud version instead, which scans links on the frontend, instead of scanning the database.

    Best Regards,
    Dmytro
