Links not clickable

  • Hello, I was wondering if any one could any light on why my links aren’t clickable, the problem is intermittent in that sometimes it works and others it doesn’t.

    Here’s an example post:

    If it works first time, try refreshing a few times and you’ll probably hit on one when it doesn’t work. The video also doesn’t play as you can’t click the play button.

    This has just started happening in the last few days and I have not added any new plugins or made any changes since then.

    Any advice appreciated as I have a bunch of unhappy advertisers ??

  • Links work here fine, though there is some funky cursor for links (they still go where they should though)…

    Other problems are likely related to invalid markup(code).

    It looks like the problem was related to the ‘Intense Debate’ plugin, I have disabled that and they all seem to work fine all the time now.

    If anyone has any suggestions I would still like to hear them though as I would like to continue to use Intense debate, but can’t be having none clickable links.

    Fix your invalidations and you may find the problems go away…

    Invalid code nested in invalid code, nested in invalid code and so on, will just cause any amount of unknown problems…

    If you have an unclosed element, there’s half a chance another elements closing tag is interpretted as part of the closing tag for the unclosed element, once these kind of problem cascade down through various elements you have a knock-on or ripple effect of problems.

    Start with those, once they’re fixed you can rest assured any future problems don’t reside in your own modifications.
