• I have re-installed my WP Blog on a different server, installed the same skin and Inserted all of the data in their respective tables in the new database. I also changed the name servers at Godaddy to point to the new host’s new servers.

All the comments are there and so are the references to the images, but there are no thumbnails, obviously since I haven’t physically copied over the images to the new server yet.

    Problem:
All the titles of the posts show up with categories and dates, but the links that are supposed to appear: “Edit”, “Quick edit” and “Delete” do not show up when I mouse over the place where they’re supposed to be. Only one link shows up and that is “View”.

When I click on “View” I get a “page not found” error.

Is there something that I have failed to configure?

  • have you tried to switch to default theme see if links work.

I’m using the same theme that I was using on the other server. I don’t know if you mean the theme that installs with WP as default, or the one that is configured in the database.

Besides, I’m getting page not found when I click on the view link under one of the titles. There seems to be something that is not configured yet.

Replace all files and folders except wp-content folder and wp-config.php file from fresh download of same version see if that solves the problem.
