Links messed up

I installed my word press gave it a theme and i noticed when i create a cat. and click on the link in the side for that cat. it goes to my home page. I dont know why or how to fix this it was working ok then it just started doing this. I’ve been playing with it so I could have screwed it up. Anyone know how to fix this?
