Links keep showing black (especially in editor)
-
Using a fairly fresh install of 5.9.3 with only Google Fonts Typography and Jetpack running, in Twenty Twenty-Two.
I don’t want any of the links on my site to be the same colour as the rest of the text – surely nobody does, unless they’re clearly marked in some other way? – and I can’t see where they’re set to be black, but they must be somewhere. I’ve set different colours for the Post Content area in the default page template and the (no separators) template, but in the former links show as black regardless, and in the latter they still show as black in the editor.
In the rendered version of Default it seems to be getting the colour from
a {
var(–wp–preset–color–foreground);
} apparently from ‘index’, but in the (no separators) version it’s got .wp-elements-8 a {
color: #6a349c;
}In the editor view, it’s got
.editor-styles-wrapper a {
color: var(–wp–preset–color–foreground);
}…so my problem is –wp–preset–color–foreground, and I’m stuck for how to change it (also if the default is black on black, that’s clearly wrong).
Help? Thanks!
