Links included ONLY in main page

Well, this was a toughie to search on, but I came up empty.

I want to have a series of links at the bottom of *just* the main blog page, and not on any archived pages. If I include these links in the footer, they’ll appear on every page. Is there some sort of “if-then” statement I can use in TheLoop to do this, bearing in mind that I am just as likely to accidentally destroy all of civilization trying to code in PHP as I am in getting the code right?
