Links in widgets spontaneous link to the filmstrip

  • Hi,
    A week ago I set up a website, bought and installed NG, filled a thumbnail gallery on a page, every thumbnail started up the filmstrip, and all went fine for a while.

    Then one day I clicked on a link in a widget in the sidebar, and the filmstrip started up (that circle of balls started rotating.) But that link in the widget was not linked to the gallery.
    And a while later all the links started up the filmstrip.
    None of them were linked to the gallery.
    I turned off all plugins, and reactivated them. Didn’t change a thing.

    Is this a known issue? I can’t find it in this forums.
    Suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    @charles de Vre – Do you see this feature under Gallery > Other Options > Lightbox Effects … What must the lightbox be applied to?

    See if that setting makes sense for how you want the Lightbox Effects to be applied.
