    If I put links into tables I can’t edit them in any way. Even opening the EAL dialog and changing the text there does nothing.
    I also can’t remove a EAL link out of a table cell. Once in, forever in.

    Workaround would be to edit HTML directly, but it’s the opposite of “easy”. ??

    Hi there,

    What plugin are you using to create those tables? Or is it a part of your theme?

    Thanks, I’m using TinyMCE Advanced.

    I just tested the TinyMCE Advanced plugin by adding a table and then an affiliate link inside that table and it actually works fine for me. I can click on the link to edit it and use backspace to remove it again.

    You’re using the latest version of the plugin, right?

    Yes, I do, Version 1.2.
    I just tried again and it works. 8-}
    The good questions is what’s different to my attempt 3 days ago… I don’t have any Plugins removed since then, so it shouldn’t be a Plugin conflict.
    I tried a bit but can’t reproduce anymore. I have currently only one link active. When I tried I had 20 or so.
    If I’m not completely crazy I also had issues with swapped items, links that switched their places, which actually only could happen if their internal IDs swap, right?
    But I guess you already believe I’m just a slightly confused person and you probably wouldn’t be entirely wrong with that. ??

    I currently use another plugin, but I probably try again your Plugin again with new posts.

    I think this is fruitless for now and can be closed. Sorry for the noise and thanks for your help!

    No problem. There probably was a problem but one that only occurs in a specific workflow that’s hard to reproduce. If it does happen again just let me know!
