Links in posts not working

    For reasons I cannot figure out for over a day now, links will not work in my posts, the only way I can get the link to work is if I right click and open the link in a new window. Even when I use the search function and come up with the post as a result, when I click the title to bring me to the post, nothing happens. I am driving myself nuts over this and I would really appreciate any help or suggestions.

  • They work when Javascript is disabled.

    Try deactivating plugins that use javascript. Might be Fancybox or something overlaying the a tags.

    ok thank you, I will trying deactivating each script until I find the culprit.

    Well, I found the issue. In the first js file I looked at I had this:

    //  $('.root').click(function (e) {
    //    e.preventDefault();
    //});

    even tho it was commented out, it was still affecting the links I guess, either way it works now, thank you for your help!

    Furthermore there was a plugin called Dynamo that was making a mess of my taxonomies. Got rid of that and the rest fell into place.
